Tonight I come out of the proverbial closet and state my denominational affiliation. Unfortunately, my particular denomination is nowhere to be found in the Bible neither is Methodist, Baptist, Mormon, Evangelical, Jehovah’s Witness, Catholic, Church of God In Christ or any of the other church names. How then do we decide the pathway to heaven with so many winds of doctrine? What is indicated in the bible in a certain parable is that belonging to a group doing great things, but without a relationship with Christ is never going to get it.

In 2011 there is a need for the Black Church to embrace homosexuality. Gays & Lesbians have and always will be looking for a church home. Gays and lesbians are committing suicide because family , friends and the CHURCH have disowned them because they c...ame out of the closet. I was raised in the Church with 2 loving parents who instill the word in me early. The doors of the church are Not Open to our lifestyle. Some believe we are born Gay and that also maybe true. But because of who we choose to have a relationship with does not buy us a one way ticket to Hell. But It is time for change in "OUr Community" We have to stop pushing our lifestyle down the throats of Americans because there is work we need to accomplish right here in the Black Community.
